Casa Luna - behind the scenes

We have been fortunate to experience some pretty unique destinations to bring our campaigns to life. This year was no different. Returning to Mexico once again for our summer campaign. It had been 7 years since we stopped traffic in a little Spanish colonial town just an hour drive from Tulum for our iconic ‘Viva Tigerlily’ campaign featuring the mythical Pania Rose... This time, we were drawn to the other side... the little town of Sayulita, a sleepy yet energetic & creative hub for surfers, yogis and world travellers alike.

Introducing the enchanting Valentine Bouquet. This Dutch beauty was the perfect campaign star. She won our hearts from the moment we met. We soon worked out Valentine was an ex-ballerina with her strong physique and bendy limbs. She looked so incredible in everything we made sure her suitcase was bursting with Tigerlily before returning home to an Amsterdam Winter...

This year our campaign was shot by London-based Australian photographer, Sam Hendel. No stranger to the Tigerlily family we have been talking with Sam for some time about shooting a campaign for us. Incredibly talented, Sam brings the perfect balance of high energy and zen, an Aussie trait he still manages to exude even after many years of London pace.

Having worked on many campaigns together, stylist Bridie Gilbert and I love nothing more than being beachside, outdoors and in bikinis when planning looks and styling for shoot days ahead. Currently London-based and also Australian, classicly cool Bridie brings such a fresh vibe to the way Tigerlily is worn, she understands and lives our effortless beach aesthetic. Now on our second campaign together the talented Bec Wordingham was behind taming the wild curly hair and ever so natural makeup for Valentine, a true challenge in 36 degree 80% humidity...

A huge thank you to the Tigerlily team for another beautiful summer collection... and our wonderful crew! It was an absolute pleasure as always... Loved sharing days that began with sunrise yoga, followed by 17 hours of shooting and many margaritas before doing it all over again... amelia xx
